Here in Australia the Labour Day is celebrated in different states on different dates. And they don't move holidays just to have long weekends. No special non-working holidays.

Only 10 Public Holidays here in QLD and 17-18 Public Holidays in Philippines (wala pa dyan kapag may bagyo, baha o welga).

We are allowed 20 vacation leave and 10 public holidays here in QLD, so that will be 6weeks of no work but with pay (work days only M-F).

Philippines, looking at it, 15-20days vacation leave and 18 Public Holidays plus plus (you do the math)....
