I used to think that the ability to drop everything is the measure of how much you love someone. But it's not. Over the years, I came to realize that the true measure of how much you want someone is not how you make him your world. Rather, it's how you weave him into yours...

Case No 18.: When love hurts
I was dumbfounded when a friend asked me this question: "Aura, when does love hurts?"; before I could answer, the infamous song , Love Hurts by Nazareth played on my mind:
Love hurts, love scars, love woundsAnd mars, any heart
Not tough or strong enough
To take a lot of pain, take a lot of pain
Love is like a cloud
Holds a lot of rain
Love hurts......ooh,ooh love hurts
Oh well, who among us did not experience being hurt by love, by romantic love specifically? The only difference is the degree of hurt, the complexity of the situation, the depth of scar it left and the length of time we consume in moving on. We all have our fair share. From an unrequitted love, to pseudo-relationships, to love triangle, to the many complicated situations love has brought us and can still bring us to.
I remain in silence for few more minutes while I compose a straight thought in my head. I looked in her eyes and gave a deep sigh. The moment we decide to love someone is the same moment that we allow ourselves to get hurt by love, but the risk of not loving at all gives the same amount of pain.
Love like you've never hurt before...
