I'm 29!

I started my day with my Papa. We attended Ash Wednesday Mass at 730 in the morning...

This year, I had a simple birthday lunch celebration with my family, 2 days ago...
My Mama asked me to cook, but of course, since I'm a confessed "tamad" magluto... I just handed her my money and begged that she do the cooking, as always...
With my requests... Alimasag and Chopsuey
My Papa, volunteered to cook Crispy Pata
and My Tita Ghie, ordered Pansit Palabok.

Who were my visitors?
My Ninang Ester came and my Tita Mercy...
My dear friend Zashi, wasn't able to wake up for the lunch date because she had her graveyard duty.
My cousin Maricris, suffered migraine that morning...

actually, I didn't invite anyone other than them...

My cellphone was busy for birthday text messages and calls... Wow! Thank you very much!!!

And before I forgot, my birthday date was Loydi... Gosh! Who will not fall for his charm... (yeah! I've contributed for the 18 million pesos, 1st showing date gross sales...)

And my day ended with a phonecall from my Loveko...

So now, my Loveko is already in Dubai again...
And me, I'm back in my reality...

My single bed felt too big for me...
My morning is quiet...
My day is an ordinary workday...
And my evening is...

A Celebration of...!

It's lovemonth indeed and for this entry allow me to paint my blog red...

Last night me and my loveko celebrated a lot...
all in advance...

...Valentine's Day
... My birthday
and most especially our 1st year anniversary...

the day started right with morning text messages...
I hurried home right after my morning shift (around 3pm)... knowing my Loveko will soon be fetching me...
as I waited for a few minutes, my friend Weng came home and we started to chat... keeping my mind off the waiting...
It was already 5pm when me and Weng decided to take a nap... and I started to get annoyed...
Urgh!

Past 6pm when I wake up and still no, Loveko... (naku naman!) reading his text messages telling his whereabouts... Urgh!

Almost 7pm... he came... with all his smiles... Weng opened the door... I was sitting in the corner blankly staring at the tv.
He tried so hard to make my frowning face smile... but not a hint of success...
Then another knock on the door...
I opened the door and...
"Tao po, dito po ba nakatira si Ms. A_?"
"Ako yun"
"Special Delivery po, Mam"
"Thank you!"

It's 9am in the morning, and the activity for the day... Discovering Scuba Diving

I always dream of trying the sport... but in all my honesty, I'm anxious when I get under water... True, I love going to beaches but getting under water for longer time... chickens me out...

So what made me decide to try it at last?
the people I'm with... Loveko and of course, the dive master, Mr. Arni.



Listening attentively... while holding my prayers...














and getting ready...

It's Okay! We're ready!














and so... it happened...

I wanted to backed out...

I suffered hyperventillation...

and so, I have to remove the gears and just put the vest and tried to comfort myself... and do snorkling instead...

with my Loveko beside, encouraging me! (thanks loveko!)





and after about 30 mins of just going to and fro around the boat on my snorkling gear...

I finally get the courage to take the plunge...

and not just for picture purposes... but for the wonderful underwater experience I've ever tried!

a tap on my shoulders! I did it! Wohooo!!!!

Last week was a roller coaster ride...

What about this year?

It's a week past this month... and Geez! I'm so stressed already... my work is killing me... ammmm... ok! don't get me wrong here, I'm just exhausted with my work schedule... haaay! oh well, looking on the other side... this may be a sign that I'll be busier more than ever... and yep! more than ever...
with new things to try...
and new places to explore...
and new people to meet...
and new risks to take...
and new challenges to face...
and new skills to develop...
and new world to discover...

Whew... now I'm relieved...
I should be thankful...
Ok! so! I need to go back to work...

Merry Christmas!

This isn't the first time that I'm spending Christmas holidays away from home... While everybody is rushing to get home and be with their families to attend the Christmas mass and celebrate Christmas together, I'm rushing to go to work. Yup! I'm on the graveyard shift today... and the plant is on shutdown so, it's only me and one field operator on duty...

With pizza and baked macaroni bought earlier at a fast food store... and with I'll be home this Christmas song playing in the background... (hmmm I changed the music... to Have Yoursef a Merry Little Christmas...) We're having a little celebration also...

My phone keeps me feel at home...

and how many did came true? hmmmm...
I still didn't acquire the material things I listed down...
no Macbook, no le Sportsac, no Zara shopping galore...
neither the dream dates with Legolas or Derek... (hahaha!)
but what did came true is really the biggest surprise of all...
Yep! that I won't be singing...
All I need to see is standing by my Christmas tree...

But this Christmas, I didn't list down the things I wanted to have... or anything that I wanted to receive... instead I concentrate more on my Givelist...
Yep! I started my toy shopping for all my three dozen godsons/daughters last week of November... geezzz what a list!
then my gifts for my loveko's family...
then for my friends and relatives...
and lastly for my parents.
I always save the best for last... since cash is what they preferred...always!

and of course, a return for the year's blessing... to God!

Though my wallet ended up empty, but the smiles of thank you will fill it all up... and will even overflow...
