On which category it belongs?

I've been gruelling for couple of hours categorizing each blog entry here. And my fingers sings e-nie-mi-nie-my-nie-mo non-stop... and I was just able to do so on few on already hundreds of entries here. Geez! and I think it'll take a lot more time. Patience is a virtue.

On the many events happened in our lives, which category mostly it belongs?
Our thoughts, opinions, and beliefs, does it all just boils down to one category?
Or we are always in wander?

Life is indeed full of surprises!

My site is obviously changing dramatically... uhmmm I mean, I changed the template and the layout. And still on-going on its details... Please bear with the confusion somehow on the places of the widgets and the like.
I'm learning at the same time... haha!
By the way, I've added some colorful fishes on the side bar, please feed them (by clicking your mouse on it), and try to make them fat, haha! (but I bet they won't! just like me!)

Land Down Under... under water

Land Down Under is/getting under water literally, almost 3/4 of Queensland has been affected by the continuous rains brought by La Nina phenomenon. Brisbane river is now rising to its peak and tomorrow morning more than 20,000 homes is expected to be flooded.
We are only about 15mins away from Brisbane City, where Brisbane River is. We had the share of the effect of the floods, as our work was cancelled yesterday due to heavy rains and some areas surrounding our workplace is already flooded. We are then on evacuation alert.
Tomorrow is quite uncertain, though our place is on higher grounds, we are keeping our prayers for safety of everyone.
Thank you to all my friends who reached out and showed their concerns thru txts, phone calls, chat.
I must admit I was expecting to hear from someone... but...

It's Australia's Boxing Day - most of the shops are on their craziest sale ever from 50% to 70% off on most if not all of their selling goods. An aussie co-worker explained that the name came from boxes, meaning when they buy stuff, boxes are needed to pack many good-cheap finds.
But, I guess, it's because you need to box with other consumers hauling over the sale stuffs. hahaha! Boxing Day is boxing day--- super dooper sale!
Oh well, shopping for women, is our favorite sport, past time, stress reliever, mood therapy, etc. (bigger hahaha!) so, obviously, I did not let this occasion passed by. (naman!)
Shoes, shoess, shoesss. Bags, bagss, bagss. Dress, dressess, dressesss. Accessoriesssss. Jewelriessss... Gosh!!!
I got some shoes, shoes, and shoes... hahaha! (I already bought, tops, skirts, dresses a week before but not shoes).
But on top of my list is so far, my most expensive Christmas gift for myself... (and yeah, they're Not on sale!). Heck! I still rewarded myself...

Quiet Christmas

It's less than 3hrs past Christmas, and another countdown begins for the next one...
Starting cold Christmas morning with Skype, talking to my parents and family, is our first time. And true, I've never dreamed of having this kind of conversation with them. Never in my lifetime. But, here I am, destiny took its own course, miles away from home, technology kept me near them and them with me.
And just right before the tears start to shed, I'd said my I love you's and goodbyes. I have to. It's Christmas, it should be merry, happy and joyful celebration and not teary, sad and lonely. But, will not deny, it got me more quiet... nothing to say, silence enveloped me...
The best thing to do to cap that silence is to sleep... Yep! I slept the rest of the day and watched tv 'til sleepiness creeps in again... (and yep, after writing here).
Thank you to all who send their Christmas txt messages and greetings in FB, and phone calls.
With my gratitude to God over this years' blessings and for the years to come. Wishing all of us a more blessed year ahead...
Oh well, I should be getting used to this... Quiet Christmas with Skype...

Time Will Tell

Once upon a time there was an island where all the feelings lived; Happiness, Sadness, Knowledge, and all the others…… including Love. One day it was announced to all of the feelings that the island was going to sink to the bottom of the ocean. So all the feelings prepared their boats to leave. Love was the only one that stayed. She wanted to preserve the island until the last possible moment.When the island was almost totally under, Love decided it was time to leave. She began looking for someone to ask for help. Just then Richness was passing by in a grand boat. Love asked, “Richness, Can I come with you on your boat?” Richness answered, “I’m sorry, but here is a lot of silver and gold on my boat and there would be no room for you.” Then love decided to ask Vanity for help who was passing in a beautiful vessel. Love cried out, “Vanity, help me please.” I can’t help you”, Vanity said, “You are all wet and will damage my beautiful boat.”

Next, Love saw Sadness passing by. Love said, “Sadness, please let me go with you.” Sadness answered, “Love, I’m sorry, but, I just need to be alone now.” Then, Love saw Happiness. Love cried out, “Happiness, please take me with you.” But happiness was so overjoyed that he didn’t hear Love calling to him. Love began to cry.

Then, she heard a voice say, “Come Love, I will take you with me.” It was an elder. Love felt so blessed and overjoyed that she forgot to ask the elder his name. When they arrived on land the elder went on his way. Love realized how much she owed the elder.

Love then found Knowledge and asked, “Who was it that helped me?” “It was Time”, Knowledge answered. “But why did Time help me when no one else would?”, Love asked. Knowledge smiled and with deep wisdom and sincerity, answered, “Because only Time is capable of understanding how great Love is.”
