Missing...patience

Whether I have no time sitting in front of a computer or I choose to have no time for it, that I couldn't really figure out...
For the past two weeks, I need to calm myself... Yep! to calm... I think that would be more appropriate word to describe what I'm feeling, rather than to isolate or to sulk or to fret... geeezzz! I've been scanning all the self-help and inspirational books I have to read something about patience... patience and patience...and of course, patience...
I'm getting impatient on some things... and along comes frustrations... If I'm still at the peek of the heat, there's nothing to write, to emphasize other than negative thoughts, ill feelings and pessimism. Huh!
Whether to focus on what I have or to keep looking for better opportunities, the pressure is at high. I can't focus on what is now while my mind is at tomorrow. I can't concentrate on my duties now while I sneak time for something else. It's hard, really! And the fact that what I have now seem to be pushing my limits, sucking my patience, and testng my inner peace...
And the only resort I have found is to make the distance between my knees and the floor zero. It is in prayer I found solace...

So much to write...

I've got a list of the topics I will write about, but yeah! It's all in the list...
There is so much I would like to share, to tell, to speak about, but yeah! It's all in the list...
In my head are disordered thoughts... but yeah! It's stil in the list...
Gosh! Today is 36 degrees Celsius outside.
The electric fan is dead tired running 24/7.
And now, I sweat a lot... (I don't sweat so much, really...)
I don't wanna go to the mall
Simply because, I'll get dizzy after criss-crossing with people roaming to and fro...
Ok! so, before I get too bum to think of something else to do...
I need to finish my article for a newsletter...
Gosh! I just miss my loveko so much...

Halo-halo please...

No good ne'!

Warning! this entry is for the sole purpose of saving my patience...

Ok! so, I don't wanna start babbling on someone else's grudges and complaints. It would just add up on already mountain-high issues at my workplace.

Been working here for almost 6years now. It was the most terrifying yet fulfilling decisions I've ever made. Moving out from my comfort zone then, it was my biggest challenge. I come to learn a lot of things here. Things that brings maturity over indecisiveness, temper and handling relationships. But most of all, I have found a family here, my second family.

With so much "changes in the rules and regulations" going on now, it is expected to have such violent reactions... and I am not excluding myself. Nope! I'm not going to streets holding placards and all, but I think my writing will do the works for me...

I need some vindications here...

CRRRAPPPPP!

When your parents...

I made a list of the things I miss doing with my parents...
1. Movie dates-family. (last: X-Men 3!).
2. Movie date with my mother alone. (latest: Sakal, Sakali, Saklolo).
3. Movie dates with my father alone. (last: Elektra! Gosh! so 3 years ago!) (I miss most, holding on to his arms while we walk around).
4. Dining out (latest: my birthday last month!)
5. Attending holy mass together. (last: new year's)
6. Breakfast. (I should put more effort on waking up at 7 in the morning to join them in breakfast).
7. Sleeping in between them... (Still a kiddo!)
8. Coffee talk. (where surprising questions pops up!)
latest coffee talk with my parents: just a week ago...
M: Kamusta na si Bernie boy?
A: Ayun, back to work na.
M: Nagkakausap naman kayo?
A: Syempre naman, Ma. Tawag, text, email. Madami namang paraan ngayon.
M: Madalas ba tumawag? ano naman pinag-uusapan nyo?
A: Si Mama, imbestigador, amin na lang yun noh!
M: Eh magpapakasal na ba kayo?
A: Shocks!!! Nag-iipon na sya... hahaha!
P: (Sumabat!) Eh ano naman ang tawagan ninyo?
A: Ano yun Pa?
P: Sabi ko, ano tawagan ninyo?
A: Ok, yang tanong mo ah...Hahaha!
P: Ano nga?
A: Seryoso ka Pa sa tanong mo?
P: muka ba kong nagbibiro?
A: (Pabulong) Loveko!
P: Ano?
A: Sabi ko, Loveko!
P: Hahaha! ang corny nyo...

A: Tawa ka dyan Pa, Eh si Mama nga tawag sa'yo Leng, ikaw, Ma lang.
P: Eh syempre, short for Norma yun at saka Mama.
A: Wala man lang uniqueness.
M: Oo nga. Pero sweet na sa kin yun.
A: Hahaha!
P: Ano ng plano nyo?
A: Ha?
P: Dapat may plano na kayo nyan, matanda na kayo?
A: Eh sana tinanong mo sya nung pumunta dito.
A: Sabi nya in two years...
P: Eh di trenta ka na nun...
A: Hahaha... oo nga.
M: Saan ba kayo titira?
A: What?! Ma, isa ka pa rin eh, hehehe! Matagal pa yun.
M: Pero syempre dito ang kasal.
A: Syempre naman......

First quarter of the year is fast ending...

I had an out of town trip last Feb 20-24...
In Ilocos region with Weng and someone special...
It was an amazing trip...
Hahaha! of course... everything there is wonderful, soothing to the eyes, breathtaking...
Aside from the fact that... ehem...

Anyways, before I exclaim that I am...
I would like to thank all those who greeted me on my birthday...
Super-duper appreciate it...

I was able to celebrate with my Highschool girlfriends... Tropang 8 (only five of us came...)
Dinner at Don Henricos

Happy for me

I'm very thankful knowing that a lot of people are happy for me...
Though the pressure is getting intense, it's still manageable to keep my sanity.
I'm just glad that I'm actually taking my chances on loving again...

still on the works...

but whatever happens, wherever this time will lead me... is in God's plan...

Sunday, February 10, 2008

I should....

I should be happy, I know...

Busy week!

I was back in 8-5 schedule last week... yeah! for the lecture and of course my presentation slash panel interview slash panel discussion slash training assessment slash evaluation slash slash slash....

Ok! I know I'm good at talking in front of an audience, in fact not just good but actually better... If I may just put up my own self a notch higher (since this is my blog anyway), I definitely know how to deal in front of a listening crowd... Gosh! my presidency experience is enough proof...

But not this one, heck of a battle between technical words and laymans terms... and my taglish...
Hahahaha!!! with three bosses in front, there should be no trace of panic in my face only that when the VP entered the room... Uuuuuuttttaaaannng na loob!!!

The thing is, I know how easy is my topic, needless to say... I did not quite pull it off... (of course, I evaluated and criticized myself!). I think it's just a fair grade... HUH!!!

Oh well, there's a meet up again next month... and another Uuuuuuutttttaaaaannggg na loob!

How's Everything?

Gosh!

How's everything now?

I wasn't so sure if I'm 100% ok, but I'm so sure that I'm 100% excited... (excited to what?)

Oh well, except for the fact that there's still an upcoming panel interview for me (ammmm, for the training I'm going through right now...), the excitement creeps in my whole system... yeah!

Here's why, what, where and how:

First, February is a week away... so.... meaning...
everything will be in red.... errrrr.... I don't get excited over V-Day!!! sorry not that one...
but because my birthday is coming?.... hehehe! yeah I'm getting older and wiser.... ammmm, well, the thing that is exciting are the plans: of where am I going to celebrate my birthday this time and with whom... harharhar...

then, second, the training.... not too exciting though, but the fact that a lot of people are willing to help, assist and teach me everything about the process is more than enough to get excited... yeah! and putting their best effort to make me understand everything is so much to be thankful for...

and, third, the future plans... ooooopppps, not getting married... but....

and lastly, for this entry... someone is coming back... someone is coming home very, very soon... yiheeeeee!!!!

February in 2008

Last year, I was able to travel in one Asian country, that is, Singapore and also visited the infamous white sands of Boracay...

My Mama asked me, where this time, will I celebrate my birthday, since last year I was in Singapore... "Ma, dito na lang medyo walang budget eh!" I chidded.

But of, course, I have in mind a place to visit... been planning since two years ago, to visit the beauty of Pagudpud and Vigan.

Ok, I have a month to prepare for that and also my friends. As always, friends and friends are my travel buddies... yeah!!!! (maybe this time, there'll be someone special who'll tag along....) Naks!!!

Happy New Year!

While I'm still ecstatic over the new year's celebration, I hope everyone had a wonderful celebration as mine...
How could I not be so... when my humble abode is jam packed with my relatives (I think 1/4 of the entire clan...) so it's like, they were almost 30 children of all ages, (2 of which are coming soon), about 15 young adults and about 15 oldies (hahaha!).
It's the miracle of the multiplication of fish when the food my mother lovingly cooked and prepared kept our tummies full and the belts lossened! and the chocolates I joyfully wrapped had everyone smiled with two front teeth missing for awhile...
And the little fun games for everyone, made us laugh all throughout!!!

Amazing!
And before my day ends... God's surprise isn't over yet... yeah! a phone call from Kuya, made it more.... gosh! couldn't find the right words to describe...

A peaceful, prosperous and happy new year to all!!!

It's a Happy, Joyful, Wonderful Christmas

Who said that I was alone celebrated Christmas?

Thank you for the Claro Family who adopted me and shared their Noche Buena with me...
And for all the friends who kept my phone terribly busy...
And for Kuya, who made it more special...

I am happy that I was able to complete again, the simbang gabi... Wow! God really gave me a chance to visit Him regularly... with my worry-free schedule... no reason not to attend the holy mass...
Whether I am wishing for something or not... still a little sacrifice of missing my primetime telenovelas... is worth the exchange...

Wishing you all a Blessed Christmas!!!

Thursday, December 20, 2007

And counting...

Christmas is just 5days to go...
2008 is 12days to go...
My assessment-panel interview is 27 days to go...
Valentines is 57 days to go...
My Birthday is 68 days to go...

Hahaha! I'm really counting the days...
But there's one event I'm most excited counting...
Someone is coming home soon...
Gosh! can't hardly wait!!!
....in about 44 days to go...
Yipeeeeeee!!!! Yahooooooo!!!! Yeheeeeeeey!!!!

I Agree!

"Kung nakaya ko, kaya mo rin. Naaalala mo nung ako ang nandyan? Oh eh, di ba't ikaw pa ang nagsabi sa kin na baka kaya tayo iniiwan ng mga taong mahal natin kasi baka merong bagong darating na mas ok... na mas mamahalin tayo, yung taong di tayo sasaktan at paaasahin... Yung nag-iisang tao na magtatama ng mga mali sa buhay natin... Nang lahat ng mali sa buhay mo." - Popoy (One More Chance)

Home

I'm such an RnB listener, but once in awhile I got to listen to pop/rock music. I was glued on watching the American Music Awards 2007 last monday night. And one band really caught my attention... (sila pala yung kumanta nun...!)

http://www.daughtryofficial.com/

The very first time I heard the song, I already memorized the chorus...

Home

I'm staring out into the night,
Trying to hide the pain.
I'm going to the place where love
And feeling good don't ever cost a thing.
And the pain you feel's a different kind of pain.

Well I'm going home,
Back to the place where I belong,
And where your love has always been enough for me.
I'm not running from.
No, I think you got me all wrong.
I don't regret this life I chose for me.
But these places and these faces are getting old,
So I'm going home.
Well I'm going home.

The miles are getting longer, it seems,
The closer I get to you.
I've not always been the best man or friend for you.
But your love, it makes true.
And I don't know why.
You always seem to give me another try.

So I'm going home,
Back to the place where I belong,
And where your love has always been enough for me.
I'm not running from.
No, I think you got me all wrong.
I don't regret this life I chose for me.
But these places and these faces are getting old,
So I'm going home.
I'm going home.

Be careful what you wish for,
'Cause you just might get it all.
You just might get it all,
And then some you don't want.
Be careful what you wish for,
'Cause you just might get it all.
You just might get it all, yeah.

Oh, well I'm going home,
Back to the place where I belong,
And where your love has always been enough for me.
I'm not running from.
No, I think you got me all wrong.
I don't regret this life I chose for me.
But these places and these faces are getting old.
I said these places and these faces are getting old,
So I'm going home.
I'm going home.

Happy Bestfriend Birthday

Bestfriend who?
I am a self-confessed supladita-maldita, but blessed with great true friendships...
For one, with my college bestfriend, Christopher C. Cahello
a.k.a. Chris a.k.a. Xyre Ron Chris a.k.a Schrive a.k.a. whatever!!! hehehe (dami tawag eh!)
But for me, he is simply Chris.

It is not surprising that our wavelengths jived
I know, it is our eccentricities that binded us together... (hahaha!)
From the start, he treated me well above the others...
(biased talaga sya, pagdating sa 'kin)
He gave cards to the whole barkada but mine is bigger and more colorful,
He accepted drawing projects only from me,
and ako lang ang nililibre nya...

describe ko nga sya...
mabilis syang kumain kaya madalas masakit ang tyan...
mabilis syang maglakad na kala mo may humahabol sa kanya...
pero super galing mag-drawing at ma-art-e magsulat...
always mabango sya...
hindi marunong mag-basketball pero magaling sa volleyball...
laging nangunguna sa uwian...
mahilig mag-english...(yeah right!)
mahilig gumimik, mag-chat at matulog...
madaldal...makulet...madaldal...maingay...madaldal...
pero super sweet and thoughtful...(libre mo ko!)

"Hey! Bestfriend, Happy Birthday! (I know I used to send you birthday cards, but this is more sosyal! hehehe!) I miss you very much. I miss our laugh trips, kulitan and asaran. I miss our movie time. I miss your libre. I miss your cards and little trinkets... I miss sharing our little secrets... Take care always... God bless you more...Love yah!"

My Train Moments: Part 2

Bumibiyahe mula Calamba, Laguna hanggang Legaspi, Albay.

Bruha!"
Aura: "Bilisan mo, baka maunahan tayo sumakay.... hehehe!"

Aura: "Mon, wala kong makita eh..."
Mon: "Ah basta, isiksik mo sarili mo dyan... gusto mong makauwi di ba?!"
Aura: "Mon, hwag mo kong bibitawan ha... kili-kili yata tong nasa tapat ko...!"
Mon: "Wag ka ng maingay dyan...!"
Aura: "Mon, makakalabas pa ba tayo ng buhay dito?"

Mon: "Oo naman... by chance... hehehe!"

Amen!
